I'm now one week into my break and boy do I need the rest. There's no new game to play this time so I'm doing absolutely nothing (obviously I'm still writing songs). Oh, actually I'm not idling totally, as Ision and I are visiting the in-laws for almost a week at the end of the month just before I head back to PNG. I'm looking forward to having some relaxing time with my 🥟🥟.
Since I have so much time, there's no excuse not to do the things that I've been procrastinating for a while now, like filing my taxes and perhaps even writing up my end-of-year performance review. I'm giving the new management another chance this year and preparing for the review properly. If they behave like last year and write me off again, I'll truly give up next year, as it'll all be totally pointless.
Seeing that I went home last month, my musical offering is a cover of "回家" or "Coming Home" by 順子. This song came out when I was in the army 26 years ago (!) but it still doesn't sound out-dated. It's a great song to show off my falsetto though I must admit I didn't do this song as well as I could.
